Concept Hunter - Parallel 2

Super short episode today (due to my own crunch time) taking a look at a cool mechanic that doesn't really deliver.

Concept Hunter is a weekly show focusing short games with cool concepts. Every Tuesday I find an interesting  game and pick it apart from a game design perspective.

So, my other critique on your video was that you repeated too much. While that's still true, haha, I think the main problem is that there's nothing actually happening in the video AS you're emphasizing points. You're up in the corner talking with your hands, but I mostly ignore that and just look at the game, you know? If you can keep playing the game continuously while talking, I think the videos would be much better/more entertaining. I noticed I actually felt a little frustrated because the character wasn't moving, haha. I wanted to see more of the game. Maybe that's conditioning from watching other game reviews or play-throughs where something is always happening.

Maybe it'll serve the dual function of reminding you of more things to mention as you play along, too!

I get what you're saying.

I never edit my videos - it's done in one sitting, and talking while playing is kinda hard, especially when I have very specific points to push forward.

I'm trying to be more concise with what I'm saying, but it doesn't always work.

Thanks for the support and the continued viewing thou, means a lot! :)

In spite of that I should also mention I enjoy your videos. ^^
